Hurst United Recreational soccer is a great way for young kids to dive into the world of soccer.
Rec soccer allows kids from age 3-18 to play on teams who are learning and finding the groove of soccer. Learning to dribble or learning a set play, the rec environment allows kids to focus on fun while learning the basics and enjoying the fun of soccer! HUSA Rec believes in every player having fun and our program allows for the players to be the best they can be.
Regular registration will close on January 21st. Players who register after this date will be placed on a waiting list and will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration fees will increase by $25 for a total of $145.
To register for the Spring 2024 season, click the register link and login with your email and password. Please have your official birth certificate and a medical release form ready for uploading. If your child has a birth certificate from outside of the United States, please click on "International Players" for additional requirements that must be met before your child is eligible to play.
Players 13 and up are required to upload a head shot of the player only. No family, dogs, or others in the photo please. If you cannot remember your player's login, please DO NOT create a new profile. Doing so will remove any team history attached to your player and they will not receive priority in returning to their previous team.
The last day to request a refund for the Spring 2024 season is Sunday, January 21st. After that, all refund requests will be subject to board approval and will be partial refunds due to already incurred costs. If we cannot place your child on a team, a full refund will be issued.
The Fall season will consist of 8-10 games (weather permitting) and will begin around February 17th and will end on or around the second weekend in May. This may vary a week or so depending on our playing league, Northern Mid-Cities Soccer League.
HUSA home games will primarily be held on Saturdays but may have an occasional weeknight or Sunday game due to rain outs or dual coach conflicts. Away games will be dependent on the home association where the game is scheduled to be played.
Any player over the age of ten (10) who has a birth certificate from another country must complete the International Clearance through FIFA.
HUSA cannot put players onto teams who have not completed this paperwork. It is recommended that you start this process right away to avoid the player missing games. US Soccer estimates it could take as much as two months to process applications.
Players under the age of 10 with a foreign birth certificate are encouraged to apply right away to avoid delays when they reach age 11.
